Did you know 1 in 6 people have some form of hearing loss?
The chances you'll work with someone with hearing issues is high.
This 2-hour workshop will explore:
• Cultural awareness
• Hearing loss and its impact
• How to get a d/Deaf persons attention
• How to communicate with a d/Deaf person
• Some Auslan signs and phrases.
Effective communication is a valuable asset
