Our heart as an organisation is to provide a safe place where we can help individuals and families suffering with or trying to cope with a loved one who lives with mental health issues. This workshop is to help educate and provide coping mechanisms for people who struggle with Anxiety.

It can be quite daunting when faced with someone you care about that is struggling with Anxiety. Often not knowing what to say or how you can help. Also, understanding what supports are out there in the community that you can connect them and their families with.

We believe that by increasing awareness and removing the stigma attached to Anxiety people will be encouraged to talk about their struggles and realize they are not alone. We aim to foster a greater awareness within the mainstream population, generating empathy and better acceptance towards those who struggle with this condition. Our guest speaker will be Maria Daniel who is an experienced Mental Health First Aid Officer, who has helped a number of people cope with their struggle with Anxiety.
