Event description

The Monash Business School Dean's Leaders Forum attracts distinguished figures to share their insights and experiences navigating business.

Themed ‘Born Local, Gone Global’, this exclusive event series features leaders of renowned Melbourne brands that have achieved international success.

The fourth event in the series will feature Radek Sali, former CEO of Swisse Wellness Group and one of Australia's most successful business leaders.

Keynote speaker

Radek Sali stands as one of Australia’s most successful businesspeople, and a serial entrepreneur in the health and wellness sector. He revolutionised the Swisse Wellness group by making the category aspirational, pioneering the use of brand ambassadors. As CEO, Mr Sali created a positive working culture (winning ‘the best place to work in Australia’ in 2015 and 2016) and charted record sales. In 2015, he helped negotiate the Swisse group’s sale to Hong Kong-listed Biostime for $1.7 billion, one of the biggest private company transactions in Australian history.

Mr Sali used the proceeds to set up a company, Light Warrior, with ex-Goldman Sachs banker Adam Gregory. Light Warrior is an investment group committed to creating shared value by investing in businesses that are socially responsible and environmentally conscious.

Mr Sali is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Light Warrior and Wanderlust Head Co; and a founder and Director of Conscious Investment Management, Stratosphere and Anthem. He also supports community initiatives through his roles as Chairman and Founder of the not-for-profit Lightfolk Foundation; Chairman of Igniting Change; Director at the National Institute of Integrative Medicine, Board member of B Team – Australasia, and Campaign Cabinet member for La Trobe University.

He is a past GQ Entrepreneur of the Year, and an Honorary Alum at La Trobe University.
