Event description
When grief knocks on the door, it can overstay its welcome, resulting in the feeling of being stuck in grief. In this workshop, we explore the participant's current experience of grief and impart the tools and strategies to manage the emotional responses to grief.
Objectives:

Who is this course for?
Any person who struggles with the overwhelming emotions of grief and feels 'stuck' in these emotions.
About the Facilitator
Christine Overstone (Richardson) is a Social Scientist, Wellness Consultant and Education Management Professional. Christine has researched and worked in behavior, thought and emotional management, developing and presenting seminars, courses, workshops and training programs for over three decades.
Due to her professional work, Christine was shocked by her complete inability to deal with the emotions that grief brought into her life. She vowed to use her skills and experiences to work on behalf of grieving individuals and families.
The Grief Centre of Western Australia, a Not for Profit, Registered Charity was launched in August 2014. As Founding Director and using her corporate training work in private practice and the public sector, Christine continues to advocate for change in the way grief and loss is viewed within the community. Her belief that grief has a profound impact on lives, with often intergenerational consequences, drives her work to educate and better inform individuals, families and communities on the issues of unresolved grief.
