July Debate Club presents: Technology killed romance, Online vs. Offline Dating

Has technology enhanced our love lives—or destroyed the art of real connection? In this Debate Club showdown, two teams face off over whether dating apps and online connections have killed romance. One side will argue that swiping culture, endless options, and algorithmic matchmaking have stripped dating of mystery and depth. The other will defend tech as a powerful tool that expands our horizons and helps us find real love in a busy world.

Expect fiery arguments on ghosting, dopamine hits, and digital intimacy vs. IRL chemistry. A judging panel will crown the winner, but the audience gets the final say on which side made the strongest case. Get ready for a sharp, surprising clash of perspectives on modern love!

Building Access

Access to Talent International is via The Galleries, with entrances from Park Street or Pitt Street. Our team will be in the foyer to welcome guests and assist with the lifts.
