Event description

Eighth National EB Family Camp & Conference 2024

Dates: Friday 2nd August (from 6.30pm) to Sunday 4th August (finishing 1pm)

Event location: Rydges South Bank - Brisbane

DEBRA Australia looks forward to welcoming you to the Eighth National Family Camp & Conference 2024. This fantastic opportunity only comes around every two to three years. DEBRA Australia appreciates that there may be a financial strain to attend, therefore the registration fee has been heavily subsidised for families living with EB to minimise costs involved.

This event is a great opportunity to attend and network with other families and learn all things EB. The children have an amazing time and can make lifelong friendships. For any non-immediate extended family members also wishing to attend, please contact admin@debra.org.au for more information as higher costs apply and there are limited numbers. If any families require further financial support to attend please contact ebfamilysupport@debra.org.au

A program will be finalised in the next month and more information will be made available regarding guest speakers and children’s activities.

*Your registration fee covers the conference, accommodation, meals and children's activities from Friday PM to Sunday lunch time.  It does not cover airport transfers.

DEBRA Australia will assist in funding flights up to the amount of $400 each (return) for the person attending with EB and if they require a dedicated carer (Australian families only).

Please note: A dedicated carer is someone that is attending specifically as a carer and would not normally otherwise be attending. For more information you can email admin@debra.org.au

Registration fees:

  • $100/adult
  • $50 for children (under 18 years)
  • $0 for children (under 2 years)
