DEC Seasonal Art Exhibition Series
Description
Join us as we launch a new seasonal art exhibition series at the Denmark Environment Centre.
Guided by the Noongar seasons and inspired by the landscapes of the south coast and the environmental issues supported by DEC, this ongoing exhibition series will showcase local artists exploring environment, community and connection to Country.
Our opening exhibition features Via Stidwell, an emerging Denmark artist and long-time forest campaigner. Through printmaking and mixed media, Via’s work reflects on the ecological and emotional impacts of prescribed burning, drawing on decades of environmental advocacy.
Come along to hear from Via about her work, meet others from the community, and celebrate the beginning of this new exhibition series.
This is a free event, please register for catering purposes :)
