Decade Dance - 10 years of The Village

Come and celebrate ten incredible years of The Village, at the place where it all began on November 28th, 2014, with "The Call".

For a decade, we've been weaving the fabric of our future together—building a vibrant community filled with fabulous friends, deep connections, and unforgettable experiences. From warming moments in the hot tub and cold refreshing creek swims to ecstatic dances. community wisdom, unlimited gifting and brilliant parties, The Village has become a haven of joy, laughter, and togetherness for all.

This time Nov 28 to Dec 2nd 2024, you're invited to commemorate our village milestone. Bring your spirit, your energy, your body, your family and all that you have to offer. Expect a celebration like no other, with ample music, engaging workshops, communal meals, spontaneous pillow fights, poetic sharing, and live rapping and hip-hop.

Whether it's singing, dancing, yarning and darning or simply being present, there's a space for everyone to contribute.

Tickets are strictly limited to 169 adults, so secure your spot to be part of this special gathering. Let's honor the past ten years of nurturing and growing our community, and create even more memories together. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

By now we all know the unique nature of The Village.

This incredible place is where The Village was birthed, 10 years ago, under one small tarp with 13 of us present. That was The Call.

From those humble beginnings, we have now shared a total of 37 gatherings of villagers. (Ooh! 3 and 7 = TEN - ten years)

Bring your lust for life. Bring your family. Bring whatever it is that you have to share and gift.

This site has a fabulous community kitchen space, wood-fire pizza oven, potable water, rock pool hot spa under the stars, compost toilets, invigorating artesian water in the creek with gigantic swimming hole, shade and sun, and with all of you there - an amazing array of offerings.

We'll have live musicians, electronic musicians, poets and sages, bards and vocalists. Benders and shapers, yogi's and tantrika's, acrobats and clowns will all play their part.

The workshops will abound, from ecstatic dance to deep dive personal exploration, crafts and art, magic and mime.

At other Villages unique and beautiful offerings have included:

Massage and bodywork, ceremonies and dancing, coffee and chai spaces, Sound baths, crystal bowls and gongs, tanaiki, yoga, Land regeneration and tree planting, Giant bubble blowing, community meal prep and clean up, Didge healings….workshops….childcare.
