The hosts of Decay acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the country on which the event will take place, the Gadigal people of the Eora nation, and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.

After a hectic journey to Uganda's Nyege Nyege Festival, we bore witness to the mind-bending live set performed by Operant. Based in Berlin, they head the label Instruments of Discipline, presenting releases from artists including Schacke and Diasiva. Making their way to Sydney for an intimate and intense show, we are excited to share the power and next level stage antics of this unique duo. Expect piercing noise over lightning fast techno kicks and broken beats.

Sharing the stage, we are excited to platform a live set by Lavurn (Cassius Select). Expect an emotionally complex assemblage of processed vocals, filtered pads, surgically programmed drums, haunting melodic fragments and hazy textures.

Operant and Lavurn will be supported by local maestros in left field dancefloor intensity, with DJ sets from:
