This charming film, based on a true story, is about Philippa Langley, an amateur historian. After watching Shakespeare's play Richard III, she believes the King was unfairly maligned as a child killer and wicked usurper. Philippa joins the local Richard III Society who also believe he was unfairly vilified. Driven by a profound sense of justice and intuition, Langley launches an obsessive, relentless quest to locate the remains of the monarch, which had been lost for over 500 years, facing intense skepticism by experts and academics.
