December/January School Holidays: Egyptian Clay Sarcophagus

Ages 6-11
Did you know that coffins in ancient Egypt are called Sarcophaguses? Come along to design and decorate your very own sarcophagus.
This is a 2 part activity so you’ll need to attend both parts. Part 1 is crafting your Sarcophagus and part 2 is painting your Sarcophagus.Â
All materials provided.
Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting messy.
No cost, but bookings are essential as places are limited.Â
Please note:
- Adults accompanying children to school holiday events do not require a ticket.
- Adults must remain within the building while children are attending school holiday events.
- Tickets that are purchased for children outside of the age range stated for this event will be cancelled.
- Purchased tickets that are not claimed within 15 minutes of the event starting time will be cancelled.
- These events are subject to minimum attendee limits: if these limits are not reached, the event will be cancelled.
- We encourage the wearing of old clothing and/or craft aprons to events in which potentially staining materials may be used.
- If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so that your ticket may be reallocated.
