Everyday Confidence: Speaking with Ease. December Speak-Easy
Event description
Public speaking doesn’t just mean standing on a stage. It’s walking into a room and confidently introducing yourself, sharing an idea in a meeting, or having a meaningful one-on-one conversation.
On Wednesday 3rd December, 12-3pm, join us at The State Buildings Perth, for an intimate, small-group workshop led by Carmen Braidwood, in collaboration with Voice Over Artist, Katharina Surtees.
Together, we’ll help you explore, practise, and grow your voice in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Here’s what you can expect:
🌿 A simple warm-up to help you feel at ease.
💬 Learn to give and receive feedback that’s constructive, kind, and confidence-boosting.
📝 Share a story using a simple storytelling structure (recording optional, no pressure!).
📄 Walk away with written, actionable feedback from the group.
🌟 Reflect together on how to keep building your confidence and developing your “signature stories.”
🥂 Stay afterwards for relaxed conversation and connection.
This isn’t a class and it’s not a performance. It’s a chance to practise, learn, and grow in community. Because your voice matters, and the world needs to hear it.
📍 Venue: Within the State Buildings, Perth.
⏰ Time: 12pm–3pm, Wednesday 3rd December
