About the Event
Join us for Decoding Democracy, a high-impact, youth-led post-election panel event hosted by Youth Decide Australia — an organisation working to close the democracy gap by empowering young people with the tools to engage confidently in civic life.
This is not your average politics talk. In the wake of the federal election, we’re bringing together a panel of experts to break down what the outcome actually means — beyond the headlines, beyond the fluff.
You’ll hear from two outstanding youth-focussed journalists as they dive into:
✅ How the election result will shape the next few years
✅ What it means for advocacy, policy, and your community
✅ How myths about voting and representation are being challenged
✅ What happens next — and how you can be part of it
