Event description
It’s been a long time coming - the release of our short Decult documentary at a community night of advocacy, connection, fundraising and fun. The fully crowdfunded doco by Christchurch creatives Robyn Jordaan and Caleb MacDonald was filmed over two days at our inaugural 2024 cult awareness conference at Tūranga Library, with many behind-the-scenes interviews. Some of these speakers, survivors and activists are joining us on the release night for a recap to share their insights and updates, to build networks, and to draw the raffle prizes. We will have cult books, t-shirts, artwork and vouchers to give away – and a ticket for the Decult 2026 conference!
Child Sister, Christchurch’s famous inner-city café, will kindly open its doors for us and offer delicious European Korean fusion food plus drinks from the fully licensed bar. More info about our prizes and special guests on our social media and in our newsletter. Don’t miss out on a great night with other decultivists and support a good cause.
