About Nia:
A barefoot joy workout with inspired movement for body, mind and soul. Nia is a blend of healing, dance and martial arts - although a class is guided by an instructor, it also is very much encouraged to move your bodies way! In Nia we dance barefoot. The wonderful reason I love Nia is that it is sustainable and guides and conditions your body for all situations, environments and conditions. We tweak to make it feel better!Classes overlook a beautiful view of Dee Why Beach – so come along and dance with the sea too.Please bring a bottle of water and we generally do some floor work at the end, so you may like to bring a yoga mat if you feel you need that extra comfort – but not necessary to have as we love to connect to Earth in Nia. No yoga mats provided.

About your teacher:
Melinda is based in Dee Why, Sydney and has completed Nia’s White, Green, Blue and 5 Stages trainings. Melinda has a passion for movement dance. She enjoys a way of life that always nourishes the mind, body and soul together and wishes to share her knowledge and wisdom through Nia to dance your bodies way!Melinda also has a performing arts background, her expertise and love for dancing and creative expression always shines through and she loves supporting like-minded souls to joyfully express their true self and abilities.Swan Lounge - Upstairs at Dee Why Surf Life Saving Club (Entrance is on car park side

The Dee Why Class operates on a school term basis:

Term 3: Wednesday 24th July - Wednesday 25th September 2024 (10 weeks)

Term 4: Wednesday 16th October - Wednesday 18th December 2024 (10 weeks)

2 classes - Every Wednesdays at 10am and 7pm
