We are super excited to announce that C.W. Stoneking and His Primitive Horn Orchestra will headline Deep in the Weeds Festival on Saturday 10 June (the opening weekend of the 2023 EGWF) thanks to support from the Small Regional Presenters Program and East Gippsland Shire Council. 

C.W. Stoneking has been described as an artist for whom ‘unexpected’ is probably the default setting and invokes the spirit of the 1920's deep south blues in his original hokum style. So we as brewery with a similar reputation crafting weird and wonderful beers in the Deep Sou ‘East seems to be a match made in heaven.

We've brought in the heavy hitters again - Meatsmith Melbourne with dessert dished up be Lindenow Long Paddock so you won't go hungry!

MEAL TICKET - Redeemable for + MEAL TICKET ticket holders from 5:00 - 7pm

They will have a few extras for sale on the night in case you need to refuel, but if you intend on eating we suggest to add the meal ticket option in the ticket to avoid disappointment! AND of course there is vego options don't be put off by the meaty name!

Smoked beef brisket chilli con carne, pico de gallo, pickled jalapeños & crema. Served with flour tortillas
Esquites - Mexican street corn with chipotle mayo & tajin 

vegetarian option available only to ticket holders with that elected 

PIE TIME - Redeemable for + PIE ticket holders from 7 - 8 pm

The Long paddock need little introduction, they are us making diner style Chocolate Meringue Pie

This Festival is part of a larger region wide festival East Gippsland Winter Festival heaps of fun things to do, go check it out!

The opening weekend of the East Gippsland Winter Festival featuring this event coincides with the King’s Birthday long weekend and we encourage music and beer lovers to stay a few days and check out some other events on the program, explore the natural beauty of the Orbost / Marlo area, hopefully support some small businesses along the way.

Kids at 𝑫𝑬𝑬𝑷 𝑰𝑵 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑾𝑬𝑬𝑫𝑺 23 We’ve had a heap of enquires about bringing kids to DITW! So here is our policy, while it’s not a strictly over 18’s only gig, it is also not designed for all ages! 

 Q. Are children welcome?

A. It is best to contact us prior to a show if you would like your kids to attend. 

Children must:

(1) Not be feral

(2) Be supervised at all times

(3) Hearing protection should be considered for young children.

We require tickets for children over 10 years old as tix are limited and kids are zombies as well (I mean human bodies) and we kindly advise that a babysitter would be better for under that age group. 🖤💀
