Deep Listening III Presented by Kevin Kenkel at The Parkside Lounge: a night of live electronic
performances by

Phong Tran, Jess Tsang, Vines

Enjoy experimental instrumentations, psychedelic resonances, and
cosmic sonic explorations.

JESS TSANG: "sound shadows are everywhere. magnified by the acoustic resonators of concert bass drums in conjunction with electronic amplification, objects sing and shiver, awakened by a sonic environment both volatile and sympathetic."
VINES: "Vines is the solo project of composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Cassie Wieland. Praised by The New York Times as “sweetly shimmering,” Vines masterfully experiments with intimate ambient and experimental pop sound worlds to achieve the massive and hand-made vibe she is often searching for."
PHONG TRAN: "Phong Tran is a Brooklyn-based composer and visual artist primarily working in digital and electronic mediums. His work revolves around emotions and experience in nonphysical spaces. His most recent album, The Computer Room was released on November 19, 2021 through New Amsterdam Records. The album is a “thank you” to the virtual worlds, video games, message boards, and online communities of people he grew up with in the early 2000s."
