    Event description

Self-care is much needed in this modern society where we are always so busy, but unfortunately it is usually delegated to the end of our list. It's time to re prioritise and make it number one.  By doing so we will not only be improving your own physical and mental wellbeing but our friends and loved ones will also appreciate it if we are less stressed, calmer and more relaxed!

This two hour bliss session will include the following:

Pranayam - an ancient form of breathing that will relax the body, calm the mind and soothe the nervous system

Restorative yoga - may have the appearance of being a very passive practice, but it has powerful and wide ranging benefits. Even just one class can help you to begin to balance your busy lifestyle and will have an enormous capacity to heal stress-related physical and emotional issues. Yes you will still get a stretch, but with the aid of props, your body will be able to completely relax and release tension.  This helps us to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which will help combat that feeling of overdrive that we often find ourselves in.

Yoga Nidra or Yogic Sleep is that realm between wakefulness and sleep where you are slightly detached from the senses but still conscious and aware. It is a powerful relaxation technique to take you into a very deep state of conscious rest.

Sound Healing, while beautiful and soothing to listen to, sound healing vibrations will help slow down your brain waves and put your bodies into a very relaxed, dreamlike state.

    Delicious Chai and Sweets (veg/vegan/gf)

Ana, one of ASMY's most popular teachers will be expertly guiding you on this wonderful journey to relaxation of body, mind and heart.
