Event description

Join Michelle Freeman, experienced yoga teacher and owner of the Nambour Yoga Centre, for an exploration of restorative yoga, a gentle practice of letting go.

In this two hour class, you will be guided into a deep journey of rest and recovery as we explore a collection of restorative postures, supported by the healing vibrations of traditional Tibetan Singing Bowls.  Thoughout the class, you will have the opportunity to experience the bowls being played on your body to open various energetic pathways.  The sound healing component of this class provides a landscape of soothing and calm energy to support the practice of restorative yoga.

Postures in this class are held for between 10 minutes - 15 minutes and are held in a supportive way with various props, allowing the body to melt into the pose.

Who is this for?

Anyone wanting more relaxation, peace and calm in their life and feel they will benefit by slowing down and being supported with guidance into a deep state of relaxation.  No yoga experience necessary, however, being able to get up and down from the floor will be needed.
