James Bradley (Deep Ocean) and local marine biologist Sandy Webb (Jawbone Marine Sanctuary) plunge into the ocean’s wonders with Simon Mustoe.
JAMES BRADLEY
James Bradley is a writer and critic. His books include the novels Wrack, The Deep Field, Clade and Ghost Species, a book of poetry, Paper Nautilus, and a work of non-fiction, Deep Water. His essays and articles have appeared in The Monthly, The Guardian, Sydney Review of Books, Griffith Review, Meanjin, the Weekend Australian and the Sydney Morning Herald. In 2012 he won the Pascall Prize for Australia's Critic of the Year, and he has been shortlisted twice for the Bragg Prize for Science Writing and nominated for a Walkley Award. He lives in Sydney.
SANDY WEBB
Dr Sandy Webb is a marine biologist, the author of Jawbone Marine Reserve and the secretary of the Jawbone Marine Sanctuary Care Group.
SIMON MUSTOE
Simon Mustoe is an ecologist, artist, expedition leader and naturalist with a passion for connecting humans with the natural world. He has worked with some of the world’s leading conservation, wildlife and ecology organisations. His first book, Wildlife in the Balance, received critical acclaim from the likes of Joanna Lumley and Ian Redmond. He lives in Melbourne where he is Project Manager for Restore the Bay, a socio-ecological project enabling community co-design and management of its ecosystems.
