Deloitte presents: Deloitte and the University of Canterbury, together with ServiceNow Hackathon - Prioritising tech for people and the planet

Are you up for the challenge? Deloitte and the University of Canterbury, together with ServiceNow, are throwing out a TechWeek hackathon challenge to the students of University of Canterbury. Utilising GenAI and the ServiceNow technology platform, hackathon teams will be challenged to come up with innovative and creative solutions to address the problem statement: “How to make an impact through prioritising tech for people and the planet”.
Hosted at the Deloitte offices in Christchurch, each hackathon team will have approximately 6 hours to work on their solutions, receiving mentor support and guidance from technical experts throughout the day.
Each team will present their solution to an independent judging panel at the end of the hackathon, followed by awards and refreshments.

Event schedule
- 9:00am: Registration, tea and coffee
- 9:30am: Hackathon briefing, tech set up and testing
- 10:00am: Hackathon start time
- 1:00pm: Lunch
- 4:00pm: Hackathon end time
- 4:00pm: Team presentations, judging and refreshments
- 5:00pm: Event concludes
