Join us for NZ Inc-Resilience in today’s geopolitical environment,

a thought-provoking panel exploring how global uncertainty is reshaping cloud strategy for New Zealand organisations.

Resilience in the cloud has been defined by redundancy and availability. As geopolitical tension, jurisdictional complexity, and offshore dependency risks grow, a new model is emerging, where resilience is centred around control, continuity, and strategic independence.

This session will unpack what this shift means for New Zealand private and public sector entities. From data sovereignty and Māori data considerations to the risks of global dependency, we will explore how organisations are rethinking cloud in a more uncertain world, including the role of sovereign, isolated cloud models.

Aligned with Techweek’s Foundations pillar, this session focuses on strengthening New Zealand’s national digital infrastructure through cloud resilience, sovereignty, and continuity in the face of geopolitical and jurisdictional risk.

What to expect:

A new perspective on resilience in a geopolitical context
Insights into sovereign cloud and isolation
Discussion on data sovereignty, including Māori data
Real-world examples of evolving cloud strategies
Panel discussion and audience Q&A

Whether you're a technology leader, policymaker, or business decision-maker, this session is designed to challenge assumptions and offer a clearer view of what resilient cloud looks like for New Zealand.
