DELORIS - 'Ten Lives' - 20 Years On w/ Special Guest Maisie Everett
Description
In October 2006, Frankston-born indie-rock four-piece Deloris released their fourth and final record, Ten Lives. Twenty years later, they’re reuniting to perform some of it in its entirety.
Formed in the late ‘90s, Deloris emerged from Frankston with a ragged indie-rock attack matched with melodic smarts and a knack for vivid lyricism. They went on to release four critically acclaimed albums, tour nationally, and play shows and tour with the likes of The National, Lou Barlow, Okkervil River, The Mountain Goats, Something for Kate, Augie March, Bluebottle Kiss and more.
Since disbanding in 2008 to pursue new, solo and side-projects, Deloris have occasionally reunited for special one-off performances.
This will be one of them.
Deloris will be joined by a very special solo set from Frankston indie-rock royalty, Maisie Everett (The Bel Air Lip Bombs).
“There's no doubting songwriter Marcus Teague's storytelling credentials. Australia has found a poet laureate for its dreams. With him Deloris aren't just good, they're great.” - Neumu, review of Deloris’ Ten Lives
