    Event description

Unlock the potential for AI for your entrepreneurial curriculum with our professional development session, "Delving into AI - Integration with Entrepreneurial Education."

Our May E3 Connect event, crafted by and for forward-thinking educators and curriculum developers, offers the keys to seamlessly embedding AI technologies into your teaching practices and course designs.

    Guest Thought Leader:

Supported by Leon Furze, an educator,  AI and education thought leader and Young Change Agents Board member, Leon will share his expertise, thinking, models and frameworks to support educators integrating AI into our entrepreneurial education curriculum design and assessment. Leon has developed the AI Assessment Scale which identifies ways to adjust assessments with GenAI effectively and ethically. He has recently published Practical AI Strategies: Engaging with Generative AI in Education. Leon will help us navigate this terrain with an open mind and a discerning eye, and stresses the need for educators to have the fundamental skills to work with generative AI. Leon will also touch on the Australian Framework for Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Schools released in December 2023 and what this means for schools/the classroom.

    Guest Educator:

Miriam Scott will join us as our guest educator and all round AI tech champion. Miriam is the Head of Digital Education at Hillbrook and is super passionate about enabling teachers to feel confident and capable integrating AI into their learning and teaching strategies. Miriam has developed a website, designed as a starter kit for anyone looking to integrate generative AI in their school for education. Miriam is at the forefront of integrating AI into education and is driven to enhance the experience for educators, students, and schools.

    What is E3?

Based on the success of our 2022 Entrepreneurial Educators Exchange (E3) and 2023 Leadership in-person events, we are excited to introduce regular events to facilitate networking and learning from educators and leaders across Australia. The Entrepreneurial Education Exchange (E3) is a community of practice for schools and the wider eco-system involved in introducing and embedding entrepreneurial education into Australian schools. As an emerging discipline, schools can share successes, challenges, and opportunities whilst advocating for wider support and recognition of the value of this type of education as one part of a wider approach.

    About Young Change Agents

Our mission is to reach every young Australian to help them see problems as opportunities through the vehicle of social enterprise. We do this through school workshops and entrepreneurial education development in the form of professional development workshops, national un-conferences and technology which enables access to all.
