$20 Boss Awards 2024

The $20 Boss Awards are a fantastic way to celebrate the achievements of young people and showcase the brilliant business ideas they’ve created in $20 Boss. The awards bring together young people, teachers, parents, and supporters of young entrepreneurs.

Join us on Wednesday 24th July as we announce the national $20 Boss Award winners and give you a chance to learn more about our finalists from across the country!

Award Categories:

This year we've added three new award categories so team and schools can be nominated for the award categories below:

$20 Boss Enterprise of the Year Award (Junior and Senior) Prizes:
- $20 Boss Enterprise of the Year Trophy, $500 Seed Investment and a virtual mentoring package from Young Change Agents 

$20 Boss Enterprise of the Year High Commendation Award (Junior and Senior) Prizes:
- High Commendation Certificate, $250 Seed Investment and a virtual mentoring package from Young Change Agents 

$20 Boss Standout School Award
- $20 Boss Standout School trophy, a framed $20 Boss Standout School certificate, and $5000 ELH Programs package

$20 Boss Standout School Award Highly Commended
- $20 Boss Standout School trophy, a framed $20 Boss Standout School certificate, and access to 1x program for 12 months or 1/2 day virtual PD

$20 Boss Marketing Heroes Prize:
- $20 Boss Marketing Hero Certificate, $100 Seed Investment and a virtual mentoring package from Young Change Agents 

$20 Boss Impact Award Prize:
-$20 Boss Impact Award Certificate, $100 Seed Investment and a virtual mentoring package from Young Change Agents

About $20 Boss
$20 Boss is the largest entrepreneurship program in Australia and is powered by Young Change Agents to support young people to solve a real problem through social entrepreneurship and help them better understand their relationship with money. How it works is that students are given a $20 loan by their school to invest in their social enterprise ideas. The loan is then paid back at the completion of the program with a $1 legacy fee and any profits made can be donated to charity or put towards a future program. For schools within low socio-economic areas, Young Change Agents has a small fund where schools can apply to receive funding to deliver the program which you can apply for here.
