The importance of connecting to nature for our minds and bodies is well understood, regardless of our background or ability.

That’s why we’re holding this event for anyone living with dementia and their carers as part of reducing barriers to nature connection.

Come along to this free event for people living with Dementia and connect to nature at the Barossa Bushgardens.

Share in a BBQ lunch, explore the gardens, wander through the labyrinth, and connect with the soil, plants and people.

Make a pot for seeds, water plants, or sit and hear more about the importance of connecting to nature for health and wellbeing.

Plan your day as you choose, and stay as long as you’re able.

Dementia service providers will also be present with relevant information for carers.

Registrations essential by 8 April.

NB. Some activities will require walking along a paved pathway. Mobility aids can be used as needed, however a variety of nearby activities will not require walking.
