Speaker bios

Arsh Katoch is Service Manager of Program Delivery with Dementia Support Australia. He joined HammondCare in 2016 as a Dementia Consultant with the Severe Behaviour Response Team and has worked with DSA since its establishment. A Gerontologist with physiotherapy training, he is a member of the Expert Reference Group with the Australian Physiotherapy Association on Dementia Care. He has been closely involved in the establishment of the national Needs Based Assessment Program for eligibility into the Specialist Dementia Care Program and the development of the Dementia Engagement Modelling Program.

Nicole Sadler is a Clinical Psychologist with an in-depth understanding of issues and challenges for individuals working in high risk organisations. She has worked on mental health strategic reviews, policy and training development projects, and research projects for health and frontline workers, police, emergency services and other government agencies at Commonwealth and State levels.

Jane Nursey is a Clinical Neuropsychologist with almost 30 years’ experience in the field of posttraumatic mental health, as a clinician and manager/director of programs and services in the mental health, aged care, and disability sectors. She has extensive experience in providing policy and service development advice and training in the field of posttraumatic mental health to a broad range of government and non-government agencies.

Dr Richard Bonwick is a Psychiatrist who specialises in old age psychiatry, and treating ageing war veterans. He has spoken and written nationally and internationally on a variety of topics in old age psychiatry. He is an expert clinical advisor to Phoenix Australia and an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Melbourne.
