Join us from 18-20 March 2025 for two significant Dementia Education events - a 2-day workshop followed by a 1 day symposium. You are most welcome to attend one or both events.

Day 1 & 2: “Dementia Beyond Drugs - Changing the Culture of Care” workshop, facilitated by Dr Al Power M.D., geriatrician, international speaker and award-winning author, and Jessica Kuh Lim, a recognized trail blazer in changing the culture of care in ageing services in Canada.

Based upon Dr Al Power's award-winning books, "Dementia Beyond Drugs" and "Dementia Beyond Disease", this workshop is designed to introduce the concept of person-directed care, together with a well-being framework for people living with dementia, using an experiential approach rather than a medical approach.

Day 3: "Creating Inclusive Communities for People Living With Dementia" Symposium

This one-day event will bring together leaders from various sectors to unlock pathways for inclusion. Guided by "Five Positive Pathways to Inclusion™", developed by Dr. Power in collaboration with Dr. Jennifer Carson and Pat Sprigg, we’ll share strategies, learn from a panel of industry leaders, and co-create actionable plans for building communities where people of all abilities can thrive.
