Democracy 101: Pizza & Politics Night is a fun, welcoming evening designed to break down the basics of how Auckland local government works, why your vote matters, and how you can take action beyond the ballot box. Whether you’re a first-time voter or just need a refresher on what a Local Board actually does, this event is for you.

We’ll have:

  • Pizza

  • Interactive stations to explore how policy decisions affect your daily life

  • Tools to help you enrol, vote, and stay informed

  • A relaxed, non-judgy space to ask questions and get involved

  • Guest speakers (to be announced) sharing real stories about civic action and local impact

Come for the pizza, stay for the empowerment and walk away ready to engage with your city in a meaningful way.

All are welcome. No prior political knowledge needed. Just bring yourself!
