It's that point in the election cycle when all of our local councils are usually open for consultation on their 10-year Long Term Plans (LTPs).
However, our councils have been granted leave by the government to temporarily replace LTPs with Three-Year Plans.
The consultation process is a great part of our democracy in Aotearoa New Zealand that makes sure that all of our voices can be heard in the halls of power, but the submission process can be daunting if it's your first time making one.
