Demonstration of Hempcrete Installation

X-Hemp conducts demonstrations of hempcrete installation throughout the year, and welcomes licensed trades, home owner builders, designers and architects who want to get hands-on with the material.

Our host Andrias McMahon is a qualified architectural designer, project manager and highly experienced natural builder working in Tasmania. Since building the first Hobart hempcrete home, Andrias has now completed eight full house constructions and one design-build using this amazing material.

There is a maximum of 14 attendees to ensure everyone has a chance to get their hands dirty, ask lots of questions and get honest answers from one of the best in the business.  For those who are keen to learn more about hemp and fibre processing, you’re welcome to stay at the end of the demonstration to attend the Hemp Happy Hour & Factory Tour conducted by our founder Andi Lucas.

We recommend attendees complete the AHMC Online Theory Course in advance of an X-Hemp demonstration.  We also encourage those who are about to undertake a project to consider sourcing Australia’s only certified and warrantied lime-binder from AHMC
