With over 25 years of experience as an applied health economist, Penny has worked across pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical research sectors. She has held senior advisory roles in both Australian and UK government bodies and is a Conjoint Associate Professor with the University of Newcastle. Currently serving as Chief of Research Development at HMRI, Penny specialises in health economic analyses, funding strategies, and bridging the gap between innovation and commercial success.
Jennifer Holland - Panel Member

Jennifer has over 15 years of experience in healthcare business development, technology innovation, and patient care solutions. As a former CEO and entrepreneur, she has firsthand experience in translating innovative ideas into successful health solutions. Matthew Britland - Panel Member
Medical Director - MedWise Consulting
Matt is an experienced Medical Affairs Director with expertise in pharmaceutical medicine, oncology, and haematology. As the Co-Founder and Medical Director at MedWise Consulting, he focuses on leveraging Medical Affairs to drive strategic positioning and health economic value. He holds an MMedSc in Pharmaceutical Medicine and is pursuing a DrPH, researching the impact of Medical Affairs on the Quality Use of Medicines (QUM) and patient outcomes.
