    This October, Denverite presents the second annual “DenverFright: Tales of the Strange and Unusual.” Local storytellers will take the stage at the Bug Theater for an evening of eerie tales all with a Colorado connection. Here’s what awaits you in the shadows:

    You'll be captivated as she reveals a ghost story passed down through generations — one whispered by her great-grandmother that is sure to send shivers down your spine.

    Join Faulkner as she unearths the chilling tales of spirits that lurk the halls of the iconic hotel.

    A haunting original tale about a man’s encounter with Death in a Colfax bar will be brought to life by local actor, Brik Berkes

    Sierra Swenson and Cameron Pittman, Collection Managers at Denver Museum of Nature and Science
    This duo will take you on a macabre journey, showcasing stories of animal cannibalism, both modern and prehistoric. 

    Alisha Sweeney, Local Music Director of Indie 102.3
    After over a decade of curating the best horror music videos, Sweeney will share her spine-chilling local favorites.

    Dress Code:
    We encourage you to don your moodiest outfit to help set the chilling tone. 

    Doors: 

    The doors will creak open at 6 p.m., and the eerie festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. 

    Beware — the threshold will be sealed at 6:45 p.m. Don’t let the witching hour catch you outside. 

    Gather your ghouls, summon your courage, and prepare for a night filled with thrills and chills.
