DenverFright: Tales of the Strange and Unusual with Denverite
Event description
This October, Denverite presents the third annual “DenverFright: Tales of the Strange and Unusual.”
Now with two showings, local storytellers will take the stage at the Bug Theatre for an evening of eerie tales, all with a Colorado connection. Please note: both nights feature the same show, so you can attend either evening and enjoy the full experience.
Featured guests include:
Stephen Graham Jones — acclaimed author of The Buffalo Hunter Hunter, The Only Good Indians, I Was a Teenage Slasher and more
Phil Goodstein — Denver historian, author and veteran ghost-tour host
Denverite Journalists — our own reporters will step out from behind their notebooks to present mysterious local lore they’ve uncovered and more.
Teague Bohlen — author of Escaping Denver, who will join us to unpack DIA conspiracies and share a personal, eerie tale.
Special Denver Zoo Guest — a live animal “celebrity” with a dark twist will be joining us. (Spoiler: They look cute and cuddly, but they can get creepy...)
