Former workshop title: Use H5P to enhance and monitor student engagement

H5P is a tool for adding interactive content into MyUni pages, such as polls, quizzes, interactive diagrams and branching scenarios.

There are more than 40 engaging H5P types to choose from. H5Ps reinforce and assess students’ learning, and let students confirm their own knowledge. H5P will be used heavily in AU Canvas, so this workshop can help you prepare. This workshop explores when to use H5Ps over other tools, and how to design and develop them. H5Ps are formative only.

Learning objectives

In this workshop, you will be supported to:

• create and embed an H5P quiz 

• create and embed a few more H5P types (H5P types that are demonstrated are voted on by participants, with options including polls, branching scenarios, interactive videos, etc)

• copy, share and back up your H5Ps

• analyse students' responses to H5Ps.
