H5P is a tool for adding interactive content into myLearning pages, such as quizzes, interactive diagrams and branching scenarios.

There are more than 40 engaging H5P types to choose from. H5Ps reinforce and assess students’ learning, and let students confirm their own knowledge. This workshop explores when to use H5Ps over other tools, and how to design and develop them. H5Ps are formative only.

Learning objectives

In this workshop, you will be supported to:

create and embed a H5P quiz
create and embed a few more H5P types (H5P types that are demonstrated are voted on by participants, with options including branching scenarios, interactive videos, etc)
copy, share and back up your H5Ps
analyse students' responses to H5Ps.

Testimonials

"Great foundation on the tool, useful examples, inspired me to go try some new ones!" -Participant from School of Animal and Veterinary Science.

"I think that the workshop was great. I really appreciated the interactive nature, that Alexi took the time to walk us through material at our own pace, and that there was lots of opportunity to direct the flow of the workshop and ask questions. The only thing I think was needed was an extra hour! There was so much that I still wanted to learn about in terms of the different H5P activities available." -Participant from School of Biomedicine.
"Clear and manageable pace of content." -Participant from School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.

If you are not an Adelaide University staff member, please ensure you have access to H5P to get the most out of this workshop.
