Design for a Just World 2025
Event description
Design for a Just World 2025 invites researchers, practitioners, and communities to explore how design can contribute to building a fairer and more sustainable future. This year’s program features thought-provoking sessions on social impact assessment, climate change and health, climate anxiety, mental health and the future, and humanistic approaches to emerging technologies. We will also spotlight global exchange through Good Neighbours: The Second-hand Clothing Trade between Australia and the Solomon Islands, offering fresh perspectives on community, culture, and responsibility.
The event will conclude with a networking session designed to foster collaboration, spark new ideas, and connect participants who share a commitment to positive change. Together, these conversations will highlight the power of design to respond to pressing global challenges and reimagine pathways toward a more just world.
