Sydney Design Meetups are once again hosting the MegaMeetup leading up to UX Australia 2023. This will be a fun participatory session.

SPEAKERS

Sarah Heimeier

Service Design Lead at Prospa

Sarah Heimeier is an award-winning Service Design Leader with almost a decade of industry experience. She has led major transformation projects for some of Australia’s largest financial institutions and leading FinTechs, has spoken at UX Australia's Design Research conference, and won three Good Design awards.   

Sarah is passionate about the interplay of strategy, research, and service design and is at the forefront of the latest design methods. She’s currently Service Design Lead at Prospa, designing and delivering the company's vision. Sarah has an Honours in Industrial Design and has completed the altMBA. With a love of learning, she's always looking for new things to pursue, such as improvisation, stand-up comedy and watercolour painting.

Sarah Stokes

Coach, design leader at Atlassian and Sarah Stokes Coaching

Sarah loves to bring humanity and humour into the workplace. Her current focus is design leadership, developing capability and coaching. Her innate curiosity about how our mindsets impact our work has led to exploration into strengths, wisdom and the practice of empathy amongst other things.

Nova Franklin

Principal Designer at Meld Studios

Nova is a registered Psychologist and award-winning changemaker. She partners with others to tackle complex social and environmental issues involving multiple stakeholders with complex needs, such as climate change, unemployment, social housing and justice. As a Principal Designer at Meld Studios, Nova shapes and leads projects to co-design impactful policies, strategies, programs, tools, built environments and organisations. At the Mega Meetup she'll give us tips and tricks from the trenches on "Collaborating at Scale"

Julia Suh

Lead Strategic Designer at Tobias

Julia is a leading voice in meaningful engagement and social innovation and brings together a wealth of experience from New York, Auckland, Hanoi and Sydney. A qualified researcher and award-winning social entrepreneur, Julia works across the fields of urbanism, community building, social impact and technology to define and solve complex problems through design thinking and human-centred design approaches. Julia has worked with government, community housing providers, corporations and NFPs helping them create visions, strategies and roadmaps for positive change.
