    DESIGN THINKING FOR EDUCATION

PROFESSIONAL LEARNING FOR K-12 EDUCATORS AND NON-TEACHING STAFF

Join us for a rich and innovation programme and discover the mindset and skills of design thinking.

From the process and underlying mindset to a variety of tools and repeatable techniques, this programme will change the way you approach problem solving, empathy, ideation and experimentation in the classroom and beyond.

Design Thinking for Education  mixes theoretical foundations, real-life case studies, and hands-on activities for a comprehensive learning experience.

Design thinking is a problem-solving approach that emphasises empathy, creativity, and experimentation. Its multidimensional value for educators and non-teaching staff lies in its ability to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, enhance critical thinking skills, and promote user-centered design. Design thinking enables educators to empathise with their students' needs and perspectives, resulting in more effective and meaningful educational experiences. For non-teaching staff, design thinking can help identify and solve organisational challenges, improve customer service, and streamline operations. By using design thinking, educators and non-teaching staff can develop innovative solutions to complex problems, leading to increased efficiency, effectiveness, and satisfaction in their respective roles.

I had a great experience working with the Neovate team to enrich the role of Design Thinking in education and its connection to industry. Their team provided valuable insights on integrating this innovative approach into curriculum and pedagogy. Their professionalism and dedication made the collaboration smooth and seamless. It is evident through their experience the team are passionate to provide practical applications of Design Thinking in education.
