    Join us for an online training workshop exploring Design Thinking.
    From the process and underlying mindset to a variety of tools and repeatable techniques, this 2-day workshop will change the way you approach problem solving, research, ideation and experimentation in your workplace and beyond. 

    Aimed at professionals across roles and industries, Design Thinking for Innovation mixes theoretical foundations, real-life case studies, and hands-on activities for a comprehensive learning experience.

    The workshop occurs on 2 consecutive Fridays, plus an additional 1h of personal coaching with the facilitator.

    DAY 1 - FRIDAY 9 SEP

    Afternoon session • 1:00-4:30

    • Definition & reframing
    • System mapping
    • Persona mapping

    DAY 2 - FRIDAY 16 SEP

    Morning session • 8:30-12:00

    • Ideation techniques
    • Co-design
    • Prioritisation tools & techniques

    Afternoon session • 1:00-4:30

    • Prototyping methods
    • Usability testing
    • The art of facilitation

    1:1 Follow-up session (optional)

    • 1h individual coaching follow-up session (on request)
    • We will be discussing further applications of Design Thinking in the context of your work

    About your instructor

    Phil Delalande has delivered award-winning work in Healthcare, Mining, Finance, Education, AgTech and more. He is a thought-leader, an expert facilitator, a public speaker and an educator. Phil has over 15 years experience across industries as a Designer (UX, Strategic Design, Transformation), and 10 years of teaching in secondary and post-secondary environments under his hat (University of Lille3, UPPA, Curtin, ECU). 
    He is a previous Principal Consultant at Telstra Purple and Head of UX at Moodle, now working as an independent consultant and an advisor.


    What to expect

    We'll be using Zoom (subject to change) and will be collaborating on a Miro board provided by your instructor on the day. Don't worry if you have never worked with any, you will be brought up to speed and mastering both in no time!

    Cancellation policy

    Symphonia reserves the right to cancel a program with FULL refund including Humanitix fees until 5 days before program starts.
    Participant cancellations will have no refund on Humanitix fees.
