Design your waterwise verge with Yaan Toussaint
A hands on workshop to design and transform your verge into a waterwise masterpiece. Yaan will share his expertise on garden design, plant selection, soil health and planting for biodiversity, with plenty of advice and ideas for how to create a thriving verge. You’re welcome to come with photos, plans, ideas and questions.

About Yaan

A former nursery manager at Men of the Trees, Yaan runs the Rainbow Coast Neighbourhood Centre's Community Garden and delivers a wide range of sustainability workshops. Yaan is a lecturer at the University of Western Australia (UWA) Albany Campus and South Regional TAFE, where he specialises in sustainability, community development, and horticulture. He has over 25 years of experience in bush regeneration, community gardens, and landscaping.
