Designing Your Waterwise Verge for City of Bayswater Residents
Event description
In this intensive design workshop City of Bayswater residents will be guided through the process of planning a waterwise verge garden using locally native species. Participants are invited to bring an A3 sketch of their verge showing dimensions and the location of existing street trees and any other relevant information if known ( eg sun orientation, slope, soil type, shade, position of underground pipes etc). You will be guided through the design process by an experienced horticulturist with City of Bayswater staff in attendance to advise on council requirements and planning procedures.
Given the hands on nature of the process places are limited.
This event is being run in partnership between Enviro House and the City of Bayswater.
