(re)Centring Country through Design

Join us on Wareamah / Cockatoo Island for an evening of Unlearning.

This UNESCO World Heritage-listed site bears the scars of colonisation, industrialisation, and cultural dispossession. She holds stories spanning from the Dreaming to the Cold War to today. Students have interrogated these histories and its dominant colonial narrative, developing self-directed projects that seek to learn, unlearn, and (re)centre. Projects aim to find new methodologies for design on Country today.
