WHAT WILL YOU GET FROM THE WORKSHOP?

You will leave the workshop with confidence in your career and study options based on a deeper understanding of your values, strengths and motivations. Most importantly, you will have designed three future lives that you can build with clear next steps to take as early as the next day to start living the life you have designed and dreamed of.

Module 1: Story of You😃 - You will explore what "success" means to you and learn about dysfunctional beliefs that may be limiting your future career choices. You will explore your values, talents, interests and ways you can impact others through interactive and reflective exercises and videos.
Module 2: Connecting the Dots 👉👈- You will learn to link your talents, interests, values with external market demands i.e. What the world needs. You will then have a chance to connect your identity quadrants and form your “Multiple Lives Plan”, having a chance to share this plan with the group.
Module 3: Prototyping Paths 🔨- You will learn about design thinking and prototyping; You will brainstorm in groups and find the quickest path to your “Multiple Lives Plan”. You will also learn about “Informational Interviews” and learn how to start taking action towards your plans by leveraging other people's expertise.
Module 4: Overcoming Obstacles ⛈️- You will learn about common beliefs and obstacles in your way to achieving your goals. You will uncover how to spot and overcome these obstacles through an evidence-based psychology framework. We will end the workshop by summarising learnings and giving you an opportunity to share and connect with each other.

ABOUT US

Our team started The Purpose Project (thepurposeproject.com.au), a social enterprise born in Sydney - with a vision for every young person to have meaningful work that's important to them and consequential to the world. So far we have run programs for hundreds of students and adults in person and online with 100% of participants recommending our course and 88% of feeling more confident choosing a career path following the program.

In order to achieve our vision: ALL proceeds from this course will be used to run Life Design programs for schools in low socio-economic areas. 💛

PROGRAM FACILITATORS:

Suraj: As an ex-Googler and entrepreneur with a decade of experience in marketing and data science, Suraj was also a lead facilitator and presenter of the Life Design program at Google, having presented this course to over 200 individuals. With a passion for curriculum development and public speaking, and runs independent training programs for business professionals.

Ari: As a social entrepreneur and mental health advocate with a background in business and data science. He is passionate about youth mental health speaking with batyr in high schools across Australia. Ari is also a trained telephone crisis supporter with Lifeline Australia with accreditations in Counselling and Bachelor in Commerce and Actuarial Studies.

Both our facilators are based in Sydney, Australia and have Working with Children and Police checks.
