Developing Brain Clinical Research Colloquium 2024


Event description

Now in its third year, the Developing Brain Clinical Research Colloquium invites researchers, healthcare providers, students, industry and community partners wanting to learn more about the exciting developments in the fields of psychiatry, psychology, neurology, and neurosciences. The colloquium brings together clinical research activities across The Sydney Children's Hospitals Network (SCHN) to strengthen research collaboration.

This year, we are delighted to announce Prof Matthew Kiernan AM (NeuRA Chief Executive Officer) as an addressing keynote speaker for the event in addition to SCHN speakers:

  • A/Prof Wendy Gold – Head, Molecular Neurobiology Group, Kids Neuroscience Centre, Kids Research
  • A/Prof Justin Skowno – Senior Staff Specialist, Department of Anaesthesia, The Children's Hospital at Westmead
  • Dr Emma Palmer – Clinical Geneticist, Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick, and Senior Clinical Lecturer, UNSW

The Develop Brain Clinical Research Colloquium is organised by Arrielle Hope (Research Development Manager, SCHN Kids Mental Health Research) with the Scientific Committee that includes Prof Russell Dale, Prof Michelle Farrar and Dr Iain Perkes.
