The Mana Ake Team connected with many local schools welcome you to another FREE Parenting Event partnering with Youth Alive Trust in New Brighton.

For this upcoming event..

A workshop for parents and caregivers of children in their Primary Years.

Join Anna Mowat (Director of Real Parents) and Sandy Hitchens (Doors of Hope Counselling) to explore the journey of parenting in 2023, offering their top tips from professional and personal experience in raising tamariki to thrive.
From big emotions, to building healthy whānau relationships through connection and play.

She directs Real Parents here in Christchurch providing parenting support, and works across national tamariki and whānau focussed initiatives such as Tākai and Manahau. She is a trainer for the team at New Zealand Institute of Wellbeing and Resilience and project lead Sparklers for over 7 years. She is clinically trained in psychology with a predominant focus on tamariki wellbeing.

"The Parenting Superpower." A superpower that can help in most situations, not only for our children but also for us as adults. A superpower to work with big emotions, connection and to help our children grow and develop into all they can be.

Thank you to Anna and Sandy for sharing your expertise and Youth Alive Trust for hosting us at your venue.
