Adapt is pleased to offer this training program to support team leaders in leading their teams effectively, using the adapt model. It is designed for anyone who runs a team.

The programme consists of four sessions - two online and two face-to-face in our Subiaco workshop room. You will deepen your understanding of the adapt team model and the critical attributes of a highly-effective team; leadership, trust and psychological safety, great stewardship, role clarity, systems, meaningful progress and accountability.

You will be guided on how to apply this in your own workplace and how to effectively build the discipline and habits of a cohesive, high-performing team.




Session One

Needs to be completed before Session Two
(Approx 1.5 hours)

Review team model
Team behaviours
Importance of purpose and values
Building effective stewardship
Session Two
Wednesday 14th February

Leadership in your organisation
How to build effective relationships using DiSC
Understand and use results of a team assessment
Practise behaviours to build an environment with high levels of trust
Work with a team to construct a purpose and set of values
Set up a team dashboard to capture work and run meetings

Session Three

Needs to be completed before Session Four
(Approx 1.5 hours)

Team systems
Role clarity
Team objectives
Understand the difference between supportive and directive leadership

Session Four

Wednesday 28th February

Define what the team does and who is accountable for what
Identify the systems and processes the team is accountable for
Identify ways to measure the success of the team
Use Objectives & Key Results to align everyone on the work of the team

After each session, you will have work to do with your own team before returning for the next. You will also learn from the other leaders in the room about how their organisations build trust, drive accountability and connect their team to the strategy of their organisation.

Previous attendees identified better role clarity, deeper use of DiSC and improved team objectives as key takeaways.
