About the Session
For this session we are focusing on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) SBIR/STTR program. Aims are similar to technical objectives in that they prove the feasibility of the proposed innovation, are hypothesis driven but medically focused on a high impact technology including drugs, biologics, medical devices, diagnostics, digital health products and research tools.
In this session, you'll learn that the Specific Aims page is the most important part of the application! Attendees will learn:
How to develop the Aims page focusing on:
Information on the scientific/medical problem to be addressed
How your technology can help meet or solve the unmet need
Why funding your application will meet the agency’s broader, societal goals
