- Is this a hands-on shooting workshop?
Not quite, this is demo-first. Gracie will be teaching her process and decision-making, and she’ll shoot live with a model to show how it all comes together in real time. You’ll absolutely learn practical steps, but it’s not a “everyone shoots the model” style class.
- What will I actually take away from this?
You’ll leave with a clear framework for building your aesthetic: how to start with intention, make consistent choices (light/lens/colour/edit), analyse references properly, and curate work that attracts the jobs you want, plus you’ll see Gracie’s workflow live.
- Do I need to bring a camera?
No. A camera isn’t required. Most people will get more out of this with a notebook and a pen, notes however will be provided via download link after.
- Will I get the slides/presentation afterwards?
Yes! The presentation will be provided as a downloadable link after the workshop.
- Will there be Sony gear to try?
Yes, we’ll have Sony gear on hand for attendees to get a feel for. Bring your own memory card (SD/CFexpress Type A) so you can actually shoot and take files with you.
- Do I have to shoot Sony to attend?
No. The workshop is about taste, aesthetic, and creative decisions, it applies to every system.
