Join us for a 1km walk in support of Elder Abuse Awareness through the Mall and waterfront in Devonport, ending back at Market Square for speeches and a light morning tea. This event is part of the global recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (15 June).

Cost: Free
The walk is organised by COTA Tasmania, supported by the Tasmanian Government and local councils, in alignment with Tasmania’s Lifelong Respect Strategy (2023-2029).

Route: Market Square → Rooke Street Mall → Steward Street → Walking path parallel to Formby Road → Return to Market Square.

Walk starts: 10:00 am
Finish: 10:30 am
Speeches & Morning Tea: 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Following the walk, participants will gather at Market Square for a light morning tea and short speeches.

You are encouraged to wear PURPLE - the colour chosen for WEAAD across the globe.
